In September 2020 a desire for a more expansive fishing platform and the goal of fulfilling a dream "The Daddy Rabbit" was purchased by Dennis Hood. A successful General and Pipeline Utility Contractor from San Jose and San Diego CA, Owner/Captain Dennis Hood took his newly purchased 2000 58' Viking Sportfisher to fulfill a dream.

The win was elusive, but the dream was not lost. While the Daddy Rabbit didn't win we made a splash!, and won the trifecta charity raffle and entry into all three 2021 Bisbee' tournaments. (they must have liked us)

It was over, we knew then and there that The Daddy Rabbit, who was fishing Cabo years in years past, was home for good.

 Daddy Rabbit Sportfishing was conceived with a dream and a will to make the favorite activities of fishing and diving a daily occurrence. Armed with a passion for fishing and a love of the Ocean, "A kid with a dream" had the vision and determination to make Daddy Rabbit Sportfishing a reality. 

Hailing from Cabo San Lucas B.C.S. MX, our Captain Angel Rafael Agundez Sandez has over 30 year's experience hunting the world's most elusive and formidable Big Game Fish. 

With an experienced eye and local knowledge of migratory patterns, weather systems, surface temps, and underwater topography  Captain  Angel has successfully caught the most revered fish the Pacific Ocean has to offer. Black, Blue & Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Swordfish, Blue and Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, Yellowtail, Roosterfish and Pargo are just a few of the species he consistently angles along with apex predators such as the Shortfin Mako and Thresher Sharks.
